On March 12, Lukang Pharma conducted the tree planting activity of Green Lukang and Good Environment Protection, about 6000 employees participated in the activities and planted their own trees.

On march 12, at 9:30am, the activities are started in the Lukang Biomanufacturing plant, the first group, about 200 employees from the old plant, came to take part in the activity, and the activities will be launched in other plants of Lukang Pharma within one month. Mr. Peng Xin, the general manager, said "Today, we are here to practice Lukang's social responsibility for protect the environment, and we will continue develop the ecological drugs to sever people's health."

One tree for one employee - Construct a new home

Due to the products adjustment of lukang and requirements of regulation and industry development, Lukang has accelerated the construction of the new plant. This activity is amid to construct the new plant to be a green environmental protection home, which could encourage the employee to involve in the construction of new plant and grow together with Lukang.
 

The activity will be continued from Mar 12 to the middle of April, and every employee will take part in the activity. Since the issue of the notification on Feb 25, the employees actively participated and voluntarily contributed to buy the sapling. They named the sapling and wrote their wishes to bless a good future of Lukang.
 

Simple wishes but good blessing

The employee wrote their wishes to bless a good future of Lukang, they not only planted a tree but also the firm confidence to the future of Lukang. The chairman Ms. Guo Qin and general manager Mr. Peng Xin accompanied with 350 employees of the first group have planted about 784 trees in total.

Hu Zhigang, one employee from the API workshops, and his 3 years old daughter plant a hope tree. He said that "Lukang is a big family, and every employee is the kids of Lukang. Lukang has provided a development space for each of them, in the meanwhile Lukang needs the construction and love from all of them. Today they plant a hope tree to wish both of their kids and Lukang will grow up together. It is such simple wish but it is a good blessing.

A good harvest depends on the spring sowing. We believe the trees planted today will become great asset of Lukang tomorrow, and it will promote a health, rapid and sustainable development of Lukang.
